This is Abby in her first concert. She is in an advanced choir called Treble Cleffs. They (the choir) have been asked to sing at Disneyland this April. She is currently fundraising as the trip will cost $800. She is selling butter braids now but will be selling other item throughout the year.
She is doing well in singing and loves it. She also loves babysitting other families children.

I would love to hear Abby sing! As for the cost of the trip...tell her she CAN DO IT! Rachel has been to Philadelphia/D.C. and also to Manhatten with the High School Symphony and she raised all of the money herself. (Some from her job and some from selling pies at Thanksgiving and Christmas.) It can be done! Her Orchestra is playing at a competition in Los Angeles in March and then they will go to Disneyland. She's got half the money already.Kids get to do so much more than we used to, but if they earn it themselves it is such a great experience for them!
